In grade 9 learners have to make subject choices that will affect options for access to future tertiary studies and career paths. In grade 11 the learners make specific career choices and determine which tertiary institution they will be attending for studying their chosen career field. The subject choice and career choice assessments inform the learners about the areas of personal strengths and provide guidance for correct subject combinations and viable career choices.
The assessment includes investigating the client’s aptitude, interest, values and personality together with their academic performance to find the best suitable fit for subject and career choices.
